Friday Fill-Ins

I haven't done this in a while so I figured I should do it! :) Enjoy!

And...here we go!

1. After a while, *it all starts to run together*.

2. *But God is on my side* at least.

3. Well, anyway, *life is busy these days*.

4. *Read* to me.

5. I always *am kind of OCD about stuff, (and it seems to be getting worse)*.

6. *God, Jamie and Maddie (and a small dose of chocolate) are what* keeps me going.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to *spending time with Maddie*, tomorrow my plans include *spending time with Maddie and laundry of course* and Sunday, I want to *go to church, spend some time with family and then my mother-in-law is coming for a visit*!

Been a while since I took part in Five Question Friday but I thought I would today! :)

1. Do you have a go to song that always puts you in a good mood? Yep...Jamie Grace's One Song At A Time or pretty much any of her songs...Mandisa has that going for her too! :) All of her songs are good...

2. Are you a real Christmas tree kinda person or do you go with a real fake one? Trick question...Growing up my dad and I would always go out the Saturday after Thanksgiving to the Christmas Tree Farm and we'd cut down a real tree. It was a mess always but then I wasn't the one cleaning it up. Now we have a fake tree that my parents bought my husband and I as a Christmas gift one year. I love it other then pulling apart the limbs.

3. What are you thankful for? Read my previous post and keep coming back to see the rest of the month! :)

4. Which fashion fad from the past do you wish you could wear today? Nothing really. I'm happy with what I wear now, well before I was pregnant I was happy with what I wore! haha. Now nothing is comfortable!

5. Do you wait until the "low fuel" light comes on before you fill up the gas tank? No! My husband and I are a little OCD about this...We fill up every Tuesday unless I haven't been driving my car (like lately) and then there is just no need. And it's more me then him that's OCD about it, because I take out a certain amount of $$ for gas from our checks when we pay bills. If we fill up around the same time each week then it's the same amount usually so therefore we can spend less! :) (That's my reasoning and I'm sticking to it!)

7. **Before you read my weekend plans, all this is pending if I feel the need to have a baby - which I'm more then okay with** And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching a few shows and crocheting some, tomorrow my plans include hopefully finishing this baby boy blanket I'm making (and no Maddie is not a boy) and then for dinner we're having Thanksgiving Dinner at my church and Sunday, I want to go to church, eat Thanksgiving Lunch with my Daddy's side and then spend the evening with my wonderful husband!

1. In November, I most look forward to um....having a baby and celebrating my 4 year anniversary with my hubby!

2. That was exhausting...phew!

When I was in school for my Early Childhood degree I was in one class where each week the teacher would read a different children's book. It was one of the coolest things in school. This is one of the children's books that she read and I remember thinking I need that book. So I've already got Maddie a copy of it. You need to read it.

1. How can I be this tired....

2. Kudzu is a weed and it's annoying.

3. My hair is probably looking the best it ever has.

4. My 10 year high school reunion is in November and I'm not going because I'm having a baby instead.

5. My favorite summer fruits are nectarines right now!.

6. Did you hear that...what was that?

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to going to my parents to spend time with them, tomorrow my plans include sleeping in and hopefully resting, laundry, cleaning, spending time with God, and eating dinner at my uncles and Sunday, I want to go to church, eat and nap!

1. Do you have siblings and are you close with them? I do have two siblings. They are twins and their names are Jessi and Jamie. I'm not as close to them as they are to each other but I mean they are twins. As of right now Jamie and I don't have a very good relationship because of some issues that have been going on. But because of these issues, Jessi and I have gotten much closer.

2. Would you rather be slightly UNDER weight or slightly OVER weight? Definitely under. You can gain weight so much easier then you can lose it.

3. What's your favorite State Fair food to splurge on? Hum...I'm not sure. I haven't been to the State Fair in forever. But probably chili cheese fries.

4. What are your thoughts on your kid(s) going to school in a few weeks? Well, I don't have children of my own (yet, I'm baking one in the oven though), but I teach some children that are going to be leaving me in a few weeks and while it makes me sad, I know they must grow up and fly away. I have one little girl in particular that I'm going to miss dearly though. But she's already told me that at Thanksgiving she's going to have her Daddy bring her by the daycare so she can see my baby :)

5. Pool or Ocean? Oh for sure a pool. While I love being at the ocean and seeing God's amazing works by creating it I don't care to go in it very much at all.

2. Jamie is someone I like to travel with because he's my husband and I like spending time with him. (PLUS he takes care of me really well!).

1. If you knew your best friend's spouse was cheating on her or him, would you tell her (him)? Yes, because I'd want her to tell me if the roles were reversed. I don't mess around with cheating, it's an awful thing!

2. Soda in a can or a bottle? Doesn't matter as long as it's Mountain Dew! :) But I'd rather have it in a glass with lots of ice and a straw if you must know.

3. What do you wash first, hair or body? My hair, my face, condition my hair, and then wash my body. In that order, everyday. I read one time that if you wash your body before your hair then your dirtiness from your hair is just making your body dirty all over again! Don't know how much truth there is to that but I have my routine and I like it.

4. What advice would you give to any new momma? HUM...I'm not sure other then it's okay to tell your child NO. BUT I'm going to be the new Momma looking for advice, anyone have any? Please.....

5. What is your best hangover remedy? Don't have one because I've never been hungover. But the movie The Hangover was pretty funny.

1.  Getting away is so great when you can do it (especially if you are with someone you love)!.

4.  Cool air in place of warm air (sounds great to me).

So glad it's Friday

I'm so glad it's Friday. And I'm also so glad I'm off tomorrow and Sunday. This week has been busy, busy, busy. We had Vacation Bible School and then there was a HUGE fire on Wednesday night about a block from my house. You could see the smoke from miles and miles away. Then everyday but today I worked different hours because of Vacation Bible School, which was awesome by the way (both VBS AND working earlier hours). Anyhow, here it is finally Friday. This Friday I'm going to do Five Question Friday and Friday Fill-Ins.

Five Question Friday

1. What is your favorite summer time activity? Staying inside. No probably swimming.

2. Do you have one laundry soap you stick to, or do you buy whatever's on sale? Well, growing up I was always a Gain girl. But once I got married and I started buying my own detergent I realized how expensive it is. SO I started making my own. I'm going to be making a batch or 3 of that tomorrow and going to try to remember to post on it!

3. What is your favorite dinner to make in the summer? The same stuff I make any other time. Other then chili we eat pretty much the same stuff year round. BUT I do love me some tomato sandwiches during mater season!

4. Do you have any talents? Other then tying a cherry stem with my tongue I have a few. I love to crochet but I can not follow a pattern that someone has written. I just have to make it up on my own. Yep that's about it as far as the talents go.

5. If you could instantly be an expert in something, what would it be? Why? Computers. Anything to do with them and the way they work.

Friday Fill-Ins

1. One of my favorite birthday presents was the steak dinner my husband had prepared for me one year when I came home from work. (I'm drooling just thinking about it - so good!).

2. You see, it was as simple as that.

3. The moon is beautiful.

4. Everything includes taxes on the end!

5. I was tempted by anything chocolate.

6. Relaxing, sleeping, reading and a lot of nothing are some of the things I like to do on vacation.
