** spoiler alert ** I really liked this book until it got to Eliza's story and the whole circus bit just doesn't appeal to me I guess. But I loved Aunt Batty and Gabe. I could also tell from the get go that Eliza would fall in love with Gabe and Aunt Batty would fall in love with Walter but I wanted to find out how it all happened. But all that being said I can't wait for the next Lynn Austin book I'll read.
