So, not much has been going on since the last time I wrote. We had homecoming at church last Sunday (October 1st) and I think that was the most people I've seen at our church for a Sunday morning service. It was great. Jamie was off so we spent last Sunday together. Then Monday I worked my normal eight hours and went to school. Then I went to Jamie's and spent time with him. Then Tuesday I only had to work 2 hours because of my Teach time getting switched. So whenever I woke up Tuesday morning my left eye felt like something was in it. I took my contact out and cleaned it and then put it back in. Went and worked my 2 hours at work and then came home. My eye was still bothering me, so I cleaned it again. That didn't work so I finally just took both of them out and threw them away. Then I still felt like something was in my eye but tired to ignore it. I went and picked up Jamie and we went and I got my hair cut and then we went to lunch at Village Inn and it was so good. But my eye was still bothering me. Except now it was getting that nasty gunky stuff in it. Gross, I know! So then me and Jamie went back to his house and I took a nap. He woke me up asking me if I could open my eye. I said no I can't (it was matted shut). He said he was going to take me to the doctor, but my doctor was closed, so then he said he was going to take me to the ER. I said no let me call my mom! :) Gotta love her. She said to wait and then go see Dr. Falls, my eye doctor. And that's what I did. Wednesday morning I got up, my eye was matted shut again, and went to see him first thing in the morning. I have an ulcer on my left eye right where my color and white part meets. The ulcer caused me to have pink eye. So, the doctor wrote me out for yesterday and then today I worked 2 hours, because I had 6 more Teach hours. So, all in all I've only missed 1 day (2 days doing Teach) and I feel horrible about missing. I don't understand how some people can miss days each week and not feel bad about it. Grr. So, I took J&J to the eye doctor today and he found out I went to work this morning and fussed at me. My right eye was matted shut this morning! GRR!!!!! SO, tomorrow when I get up if my eyes are any better I'm going to work and if they aren't then I'm not. My director has been great about my eyes! haha. I guess I'm just a worry wart! Pray for me about that.
ANYHOW, on to better things! Jamie and I have been dating for 3 and a half years on October 8th. No we aren't really celebrating it or doing anything special. I just can't believe we've been dating that long. It seems like yesterday that we started dating. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him! He's the best, even if he is a goober! I love you Jamie Ray!

This is where I describe my blog but I figured since you were here you should go ahead and read it anyhow :) Hope you enjoy!

Today...
Today was an okay day. I woke up and went to Jamie's. It was great spending time with him before he had to go to work. I can't wait until I spend the whole day with him tomorrow! We're going to church, out to eat, probably nap, and then back to church. I love him so much! Anyhow, after I spent time with Jamie I came home and took a nap. Got up, only because I had to, and got ready. Then I went to babysit a little girl from my daycare. So, all and all it was a good day!

WOW
It's been a really long time since I wrote here. Alot has happened since my last post. On June 19th Jamie's grandfather, Ronald, had a stroke and we drove down there that night and stayed for almost a week. We both hated leaving but we either came back home or lost our jobs! :( Then on July 2nd his grandfather passed away. So, we flew down there thanks to some of the people that his grandfather had worked with. We spent the week of the 4th of July in Florida and Virgina with Jamie's family. It was a very sad time. We came back and then I was sick a week with the stomach bug! YUCKO! BUT that is all over and I started back to school in August. I'm taking three classes, two at Mitchell and one at Haywood. I am taking The Holocaust and Health, Safety, Nutrition at Mitchell and then Child Development I at Haywood. It has not been to hard this semester. I'm just ready to get my degree and be done with school for a while. But right now my work has a program called T.E.A.C.H., which is actually a scholarship program where the scholarship pays for some, work pays for some and then I pay for small bit of it. Plus with this program work gives me time off so I work 34 hours a week but get paid 40. Isn't all of that just awesome! PLUS I am back with the age group that I LOVE! One year olds are so funny. I've taught one little girl to say Wasup Dawg! haha. And before I had another little girl who'd say Little Miss Attitude and Drama Queen. To funny. What is also great is having a wonderful co-teacher to work with, Emily. I love her to death! I'm so happy I had the chance to work with her and I do not know what I'm going to do whenever she goes off to college. Which hopefully we'll be together until both of us quit, not that I know when that'll be. Life is going great! Hopefully I'll be getting engaged soon (I can't wait until he pops the question!) And then I can start planning a wedding! I have a wondeful life.
OH yes...Also, on September 25, 2006 my parents have been married for 25 years! That is so awesome and I hope I can be as happy with Jamie after 25 years as they are with each other! Happy Anniversary Momma and Daddy!!
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. 8 I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Jamie's Birthday!!!
Yesterday was Jamie's birthday. My boyfriend Jamie that is. Figured I should put that in there since there are 3 Jamie's in my family. Anyhow, I woke up late. I was going to get up early and go over there to eat breakfast with him but oh well. He got up really early and then he went and saw his daddy. I got up and did a little homework and then paid bills (fun stuff) and then got ready to go. He came to my house and we left here around noon. Then we went and saw my grandma at her new Hickory office. After we sat and talked to her for about 15 minutes we left and went to eat. First we went to Caraba's (spelling) because Jamie loves that place and that's where he wanted to eat. Well, they were closed for a private party. I bet those people paid a pretty penny for that. SO instead of Caraba's we at Olive Garden. It was really good! When we were done eating we went to the mall so I could return some stuff at American Eagle. I ended up getting a pocket book. And it's messed up (I was very upset). I'm going to see if a woman at work can't fix it though. He also bought a present for my daddy for his birthday which is June 28th. Then we went to Aero and he bought him two shirts. Of course Bath and Body Works is having a good sale so I wanted to go there. At first Jamie didn't want to go but then he thought about my mom so he went in and got her a birthday gift, her's is June 18th. I wanted some black flip flops to wear with my black skirt to Jamie's grandpa's wedding so we went to Shoe Carnival and I got some Op flip flops. Jamie's dad called and asked if we could come over. So then we went all the way from Hickory to Harmony. We ate some cake and stayed about an hour and then we went to Vacation Bible School. After we got out of VBS we thought we weren't going to be able to go swimming but ended up being able to go and stayed for almost two hours. Jamie and I took my sisters and cousin swimming. It was so fun! After that we came home and parted ways. I would have to say it's one of the best days that me and Jamie have spent together!

Emma Grace
I'm so excited!!! One of my best friends, Erica, had a baby girl at 11:07 (CST) on June 9, 2006!!! They are going to name her Emma Grace!! Her husband called me and told me and I didn't know the number so I almost didn't answer it. Well, I did answer it and there was a man, her husband, who said May I talk to Kasey. I said this is her. He said okay hold on a minute. I said okay. I was wondering who is they man calling me at midnight my time. hehe. But then he came back on the phone and told me who he was and that Erica was in recovery and they had a baby girl!! I just thought I'd post cause I'm so excited! I wish I could go to the hospital and see Erica and Emma Grace. But they live in OK. :( I was going to go there this summer but funds are short so I don't get to. But Erica will be in my wedding whenever that comes!! :) I'm EXCITED!!!

Tomorrow...
Tomorrow is going to be a hard day...Tomorrow will be my last day in the 4 and 5 year old class...In some ways I am so happy about this...But in some I'm not. Today was one of the little girl's (I was seriously attached to) last day. Her parents are pulling her out and she'll be going to summer camp. I cried when she left. I'll see her on Sunday when we have graduation (which I'm worried about) but I will miss her smiles and attitude so much. Just the other day she said Ms. Kasey I love you all the way to Jesus...It made me feel so good. And I know I'm just another teacher but this isn't just any little girl. I sit here right now just crying because I'm going to miss her and so many others from this class. Tomorrow we have 3 other children who it will be their last day. I'm close to all of them too and will cry tomorrow too. Sunday we are having their graduation at 3pm. I know I will survive all of this but my heart is just hurting from knowing these kids are going to be gone. I am so use to seeing them five days a week. Okay...Enough of my crying.
Jamie's grandpa is getting married on June 30th. Jamie and I will be flying down there to go to the wedding. We'll be leaving on June 30th at 9am and coming back on Saturday, July 1st at 6pm. I have never flown before so I am very excited and very scared at the same time. But Jamie is the person I'd want to do it with. Gosh I love him!
Well, I need to get off of here...Thanks for reading!
Devote youreselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

What a goober...
Yes...I am the goober. The last post I didn't add a verse because it was so long and I forgot...So here are two verses for ya! :)
I sing to the Lord because he has taken care of me.
Psalm13:6 (NCV)
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Mark 16:16 (NIV)
And one extra for thought...hehe...

Trisha's B-day!! (long post)
Sorry I haven't wrote in so long...It's been almost a month. Maybe I should wait until tomorrow that way it will be a whole month. Nah...hehe...
So, school is out and I made...STRAIGHT A's!!! I signed up to do my co-op and the work seminar class that I have to do this summer. Should be easy. I mean all I'm really doing is paying Mitchell to let me go to work, which is CRAZY! But oh well, gotta do it to get my degree. I also signed up for four classes this fall at Mitchell. But CVCC may be offerening one of them on the internet so I may be doing an internet class. And if I go up there and find out one of my other classes is offered on the internet I may sign up for that one too. Then I would be taking 5 classes!! WOW, hopefully it will all work out. But if I get both of those classes in then I'll only have 8 more classes till I graduate! (If you don't know I'm going to school to get my degree in Early Childhood Education.) And then if I could take four classes a semester then I would be done in the fall of 2007 and graduate in the spring of 2008. :) That would be great.
Work is good. I found out back at the first of May (well, after I posted last time) that I would be changing rooms. Right now I am in the 4/5 year old room. At first they said I would be moving to the infant room on June 13th. (Graduation for the 4/5's is June 11 and then I'm off on June 12th for Jamie's b-day!!) Anyhow, after that about a week later one of the 1 year old teachers either quit or got fired (who knows). BUT I talked to the director and told her I would like for her to consider putting me in that room cause I loved the one's when I was with them before. She said she would talk to her assistant and that we'd see. Well, she told me a few days later that I would be moving to the one's. I'm very excited about that but also nervous and scared. I'll be working with a girl named Emily and it's not that I think we won't get along but I'm always scared when I start working with someone new. Anyhow, Emily is a few years younger then me so we should have fun.
Church is going good. We've got Vacation Bible School June 11-16. I'm doing kitchen duty with Jamie and mom. I did it last year when mom went to the Ukraine and had fun so I signed up for it again this year.
Jamie is doing great too...He's working a LOT of hours (getting about 40 hours of overtime a week). Which also means he's making more $$. We've talked more about getting married and he even bought me a wedding planning book that I wanted and I love it...I'm trying to not plan so much until I at least get a ring...haha. But I like looking at it all. He is done with school until this fall and I know he is as happy about that as I am. We're spending a lot more time together now that he's out of school and I am too. I'm loving it!!
NOW about the title of this LONG post...Today is Trisha's (my best friend) b-day!! WOOHOO!!

Such the slacker!
Well, school will be done with completely on Wednesday, May 1oth. AND I can't wait! Not much has really happened since I've been home from the beach. My children that I teach have been sick. We've had 3 out every day this week. :( Some stomach stuff that makes you have a fever. Even my co-teacher had it. Yuck, I hope I don't get it. This weekend I'm not doing much of anything except for relaxing. I have to do a take-home exam for one class and then I will completely done with exams. Exams were great this semester. Well, I'm done with my randomness. Thanks for listening, I mean reading! :) Night

Two days in a row!!!
Today was good. We had all 16 kids there...WOW they are a handful. The funny thing is that wild child that was out yesterday was back today, and he was great!! But I guess him being there made the other wild child feel like he had to act out. Crazy kids! But ya gotta love em, cause I do!! Anyhow, that's all about today. I went to class tonight and it was boring as always. I love getting my education but I think I'm just ready for it to be over with. Well, here it is again LATE and I need to get some rest so off to bed I go...Night!!

Back to the NORMAL life...
Vacation was wonderful. More then wonderful whatever that is. The only thing I would have changed would have been Jamie going to the beach with my family. But other then that I was great. It only rained two days which is great for a seven day week. Anyhow, I crocheted and read and walked on the beach. I found a ton of shark's teeth and sea shells. Honestly I did not get in the ocean at all other then my feet being in it. I didn't want to go to the trouble of putting on sun screen (which I dislike greatly) and then also taking my contacts out. Call me lazy but I was on vacation so I could be lazy! hehe. We left on Easter Sunday around 1:30 and came back on the 23rd and got home around 3:15. Anyhow, I'll move on now...Today was the first day back at work and I knew that I would be worn out after work. But the kids were good today and it was great. They were good because the "problem" child was out today. So then I went to Jamie's and worked on the flower bed where I am going to plant flowers. Then he fixed me supper and I did homework. FUN! Speaking of homework, I only have 1 more week of school!! WOOHOO!! The day before I left for the beach we had Jamie a house-warming party and it went great I thought. But his brother, Jason, came in and we (Jason, Jamie and I) went to the Hickory mall. Well, I wanted to show Jason the ring I had picked out. Well, I know I put that picture on here bfore but I found a prettier one. It's basically the same cut and ring just a different way. This is still a 1 carat and it still has the little hearts under the stones. Here's a picture of it...
Isn't it pretty!! I love it. One day someday. Well...It's getting late and I need to go to bed. Write more soon! Night!

Vacation...
It has been a while since I last wrote. And I do have an excuse. It is because I've been so busy with school and work. Last weekend I went to see my best friend Trisha. It was her son's 2nd b-day and I went and spent the whole weekend. It was so fun! I will have an excuse for not writing all week...I'm leaving for vacation later today right after church. HAPPY EASTER!!! My family and I, and 1 cousin, are leaving for the beach today. We will be gone until April 23rd. And I am so ready. Hopefully this vacation will give me lots of rest and I'll write more when I get back...We shall see...

Life...
Life hasn't gotten any slower here...I wish it would sometimes. Not alot has changed since I last wrote in here. Spring Break is this week at school so I'm out of school but still running around all the time...
GOOD NEWS though...(No I didn't get a ring yet)...Jamie has been looking for a place to rent closer to Mooresville and Charlotte. Well, Sunday someone called my mom and told her about this house that they had seen for rent so we went and rode by it. It's a nice little house. Well, me and Jamie both figured it'd be to much but when he called they said the ## he'd be wanting to hear...SO, Jamie will be moving this weekend! I'm so excited for him...He'll only be 5 minutes away from my house. So that's my good news for this week!!!
I'm also going to start putting one bible verse on here everytime I write...Maybe this will get me to typing in here more. We'll see!
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. - Psalm 46:1 (NIV)

Busy...Busy...Busy...
I have been busy, busy, busy. It has been a little over two weeks since I last wrote on here (not that I think many people, if any, read this) and not much has happened. I have so much going on right now. I dropped one of my classes because I just have way to much going on right now. I have work - and it comes home with me, three other classes, family, church, and of course, Jamie. Work is good. We have been having to move kids and teachers around all the time because there is always someone sick. No offense to anyone. I mean I get sick too. :) And I am trying to get alot of things done for the classroom so if I am not working on homework I am doing something for work. Speaking of homework it is driving me crazy. And I put things off until the last possible minute. Family is okay. I am so ready to move out. Not because I don't love my family but because I am 23 years old and it is just time. But I don't really guess it is time otherwise I would have the funds to support myself and move out, right? Maybe after I get my medical bills paid off I can even think about moving out. Jamie and I have talked a little more about the marriage thing. But I'm not pushing it. It will happen when it happens. I'm just planning on November of 2007. haha. Well, off to do some of that wonderful homework. See ya!

Maybe a wedding??? Not for a while though...
Yeah so last night, Friday, me and Jamie went out to eat and was having a good time. We went to eat at Caraba's (spelling cause I know that's not right) and then we decided to go to Barnes and Noble. We walked into Barnes and Noble and Jamie said those two comfy chairs are open. SO I walked over and he said I have to go to the restroom. So I saw a wedding planning book. I grabbed it and looked at it honestly thinking that I would just look at it till he got back and then I'd go get me another book. He came back and we sat and looked at that book for almost two hours. Then we talked about it all the way home and it was so much fun. I got so excited. And he told me that before we started planning the wedding that we'd need to be engaged but he had no idea about what kind of ring I wanted. So, I said well, let's go looking at rings one day. He said okay. Today, Saturday, he got off work and called me. He said all I have been thinking about today is what we were talking about last night. And I said me too. He said what do you want to do tonight. I said let's go look at rings. And that's what we did...I'm so excited!! I tried on a ton of rings. There were two that I really liked...I tried on this one... and then I saw another one in a book. BUT who knows. I told him that I'd like whatever he got me... :) I can't wait. I'm pretty sure that the date will be November 9th, 2007. OOOOOO I'm so happy!! Well, I will stop talking about it...Night everyone!

I want to write in this everyday but it doesn't seem to happen. I have school at night Monday-Thursday and then Friday's Jamie has been off lately. Which I love!! This week was pretty good. I love my weekends! I babysat a little girl tonight from work. It was great and she was so good. And it was snowing tonight...I LOVE IT!! I just hope it keeps snowing...Well, I will write more later! See ya!

Fun Stuff
I am so ready for the semester to be over already. Well, not the semester, just until I go to the beach. Oh I can't wait for that. Anyhow, I've got one more 5-8 page paper to write and then I am done with papers for the semester.
On to other things. So, there was this kid at my work that was in my room and he would beat me up. I mean actually hitting and kicking me! Well, his mom decided to pull him out and Friday was his last day! It is so much less stressful now.
But I need to go do some homework before Jamie gets here. So I'll write more tomorrow maybe...
